About
Emma Legge is an abstract artist living in a pretty village in Hampshire, UK, working under the name EmmaLegge.Art. Born in Staffordshire and raised in Berkshire, Emma enjoyed a successful career in enterprise IT sales with industry leaders such as Dell Technologies and Amazon Web Services before discovering her true creative calling.
Working primarily with acrylics, pastels, and texture mediums on wood or gallery-grade canvas, Emma creates intuitive, expressive pieces that radiate joy and energy. Her artistic journey began in earnest following a period of illness, during which she turned to painting as a form of healing. What started as a therapeutic outlet quickly became a daily practice and deep passion. She paints without a fixed plan, allowing each piece to emerge organically from emotion, music, and movement.
Though a self-taught artist, Emma has completed five art courses in the past year and is continuously exploring new techniques, materials, and forms. Her creative roots run deep — as a classically trained pianist and long-time choir singer, she has always expressed herself through the arts. Her paintings reflect this lifelong connection to rhythm and intuition.
Since sharing her work publicly, Emma has received commission requests, sold multiple original artworks, and launched her own online shop. She regularly shares her process and new works on Instagram, and she’s now seeking opportunities to exhibit her work and connect with galleries and collectors who resonate with her bold, heartfelt style.
